Place your shredded paper in a brown grocery bag, fold the top over, place in the mixed paper at the Recycling Center. No three-ring binders, credit cards, or CDs will be accepted. Books of checks do not need to be separated.

Saturday, November 5, 9 am to 12 pm Shredding Events Specifications & Requirements Stay in your vehicle, volunteers will unload and process your paper. Covid Requirements: Please load your boxes/bags in the rear of your vehicle. There is a five box limit for all paper shredding events. This event will be held at the Coon Rapids Recycling Center located at 1827 111th Avenue NW, one block east of Hanson.
The City of Coon Rapids is not responsible for shared information as the result of improper shreddingĮvents will be held five times during the year on the first Saturday from 9:00 a.m. Must be at least 16 years of age to operate machines. Paper shredders will strip-cut all documents. Do not leave papers or machines unattended while shredding. Do not over feed machine- only put in small stack at a time and do not force paper in the machine. Paper only! Remove all paper clips and rubber bands, staples may be left on. Residents must shred the paper themselves, staff cannot assist. Do NOT shred magazines, calendars, greeting cards, etc. ONLY SHRED APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS WITH PRIVATE INFORMATION. This is meant for smaller amounts of shredding, please limit to one box per visit. The Recycling Center has self-serve paper shredders that are available for use whenever the facility is open. Our mobile events for 2022 schedule are listed below. During the spring, the shredders may out of use in the mornings when temps are still cool. Temperatures MUST be above 40 degrees for self-serve paper shredding.
